I Do and I Teach

I've had a pretty successful career as a commercial artist and I still love creating... but I also love sharing my experience with the next generation. I love sharing techniques and ways of thinking and looking at art. I love seeing the look of satisfaction a student gets from having crafted something they are proud of, and I love being the person that helped them realize that potential.

My degrees from Hofstra University and Eastern Illinois University have been invaluable to my teaching, but it was while working as a commercial artist that I began my career as an educator at Nassau Community College, where I soon became invested in my students' work and growth...
